~OKI & New Baby

After Jasper Georgie died on March 8, 2005, I knew I could not go back home to Georgia, U.S.A. without another Iguana. I felt in my empty and broken heart that Jasper didn't want me to go home without one either. Jasper was a big part of my life and home for over 8 years. So when I woke up the night after Jasper went to heaven....with the name "OKI" on my mind. I felt in my heart it was to be the name of a new iguana I was suppose to get over in Oklahoma/Arkansas area where I was with Jasper's daddy on a trip at the time of Jasper's passing. I then with the calm feeling that I got when I found "OKI" in a pet store in Van Buran, Arkansas that I knew it was something that Jasper wanted. I adopted "OKI" and I was glad I did. See when they caught "OKI" in the wild they must have grabbed him by the tail and damaged it. It was almost dead when I bought it and two weeks later it fell off. I had to have a bit more removed because of an infection that had set in and now "OKI" may or may not grow a tail back. But I found out that he/she would have died in a few weeks of infections if I would not have found "OKI." NOw that is what makes "OKI" even more special to me....I feel in my heart it was Jasper's angel that led me to "OKI SASSIPANTS" and Jasper angel led "OKI" to me. It was a friendship made in heaven. He/she is alittle wild but knows that it is safe here with me. I wanted to introduce you to "OKI" and let you get to know the new little one in my life.......Thank you JASPER.....I Love You.....
